Do I need to purchase a meal plan?

Yes! It's a great value and it is King’s College’s policy that all designated Campus Residents purchase a meal plan each semester.  Commuters and off-campus residents can take advantage of their value and convenience!

What is Flex?

Flex Dollars are cash values included in some meal plans. They work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Flex may be used at any on-campus dining location.

Does Flex carry over from year to year?

Flex does not carry over from semester to semester or from year to year.

Do Block Meals carry over from semester to semester?

Block meals will carry over from fall semester to spring semester but not from spring semester ot fall semester.

Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?

Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan can be done before the second Friday of the new semester.  Changing to a larger plan is possible at any time during the semester.

If I'm not a Resident Hall Student, where do I buy my meal plan?

If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional meal plan through the Office of Residence Life in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center. We have also designed special meal plans just for you.  The 10 Meal Plan and Block Plans were created with commuters and off-campus residents in mind.

What is King’s Cash?

King’s Cash is a debit account that allows you to deposit funds and use them for both on and off campus. It also gives a 10% discount on all on campus dining purchases.  King’s Cash is a smart and easy way to make purchases at any on campus dining location, laundry, vending machine, and at participating Wilkes Barre-area restaurants.  King’s Cash never expires and can stay in your account from the beginning to the end of your time spent at King’s College.
